We are proud to introduce Mr Abdul Latif Qazi as the senior partner of ABDUL KHALIQ QAZI & PARTNERS. He is a highly respected and accomplished bureaucrat with a remarkable career spanning 42 years in the Government of Sindh. With a significant portion of his tenure dedicated to the legal department, he brings extensive expertise in legal matters and administrative affairs. During his tenure in the legal department, Mr. Qazi played a pivotal role in handling complex legal issues and providing valuable insights on matters of governance and compliance. His deep understanding of legal frameworks and regulations enabled him to contribute significantly to the government’s decision-making processes. Notably, Mr. Qazi’s expertise was instrumental in his involvement with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) assessment. He played a crucial role in leading the efforts to address key concerns and implement necessary measures to retain Pakistan’s status in the grey list. His strategic guidance and meticulous approach helped him navigate through challenging circumstances, ensuring Pakistan’s commitment to combating money laundering and terrorist financing. KHAWAJA BILAL

Mr. Bilal is a seasoned lawyer/litigator with exposure in diverse areas of law, ranging from assisting senior lawyers in the most publicized of cases concerning fiscal disputes of billions of Pakistani rupees (PKR) to representing the neediest of the needy in family cases before the district courts of Karachi. Apart from his exposure to varied contentious matters, he has gained significant experience in corporate/noncontentious matters, drafting and vetting a wide category of deeds and agreements and rendering legal opinions to clients. His time in legal practice has thus honed him to work with a thorough attention to detail under pressure handling and time-sensitive situations and he now relishes a challenge in any area of law.

Having worked at top litigation and corporate law firms in Pakistan, Aman has drafting and research experience in a range of matters. As a litigator, she has been engaged in constitutional law, tax law, family law, and intellectual property law along with regulatory and procedural matters. On the corporate side, she has experience in mergers and acquisitions, REITs, and PPP, as well as contract and opinion drafting. She holds a BA-LLB from the Lahore University of Management Sciences where she graduated with distinction, and a LLM from the George Washington University where she held the distinct honor of being a Fulbright Scholar and a Thomas Buergenthal Scholar. She enjoys writing and has published in academic journals and newspapers.
